The Problem

Directory Unifier solves the problem of how to easily synchronize information between your Domino Directories, Active Directory, and the Office 365 Directory. It's "set it and forget it" synchronization. Simply determine your source and target system, define what data you want to synchronize (email, department, location, for example), and how often you want to synchronize. That's it in a nutshell. It really isn't much harder than that.

The Issues

A non-existent or poor Directory synchronization create very real and tanegible issues for you and your organization. Are the following issues familar to you?

These are just a few issues that may have driven you to search for a product like Directory Unifier. Directory Unifier will elminate all the above issues, save you tons of man hours, and increase your approval rating with your users.

Why can't I send an email to user? The user should be in the GAL.

"A user's been married for 2 weeks and has a new email address and name, but our directory has the old info."

"Why are we using a free tool that Microsoft stopped supporting years ago?"

Okay so we migrated to a new messaging system, but I didn't realize we need to continue to update the old one?

We migrated to a new messaging system but didn't realize those apps still need to use updated Directory information in the old system.

The Solution

How We Solve Directory Synchronization between Domino and Active Directory

Directory Unifier works by creating synchronization configurations. A Synchronization configuration defines where you want to pull data from (your source) and where you want to write that data (your target). For example, you need to syncrhonize information for all mail enabled users in Active Directory to to your Domino Directory (or visa versa). Once you have created a record in the target system, it will be updated every time the source record is updated (such as changing an email address, or last name). What if your record is deleted in the source system? No problem, Directory Unifier will delete it in the target system. All automatically, without any intervention on your part.

What else can Directory Unifier Do?

So far so good? Directory Unifier does more than simply synchronization information from A to B.

Here's just are just a few of the additional features:

Create multiple synchronization configurations. Not just one source and one target.

Synchronize multiple times during the day

Easily transform Data on the target. For example instead of "Smith, John" for the display name, you can specify "Smith, John (Contractor)".

Pull data in from other sources, like ERP, SAP, etc.. Say you need to pull a user's Job Title and Manager in from another data source and apply it to your target record.

Run additional programs or scripts before and after a synchronization. Many times synchronization is one of several tasks that need to run in tandem.

Generate comprehensive synchronization reports. What was added, updated, and deleted.
